The TICKING STRIPE APRON BAG is a reproduction of a vintage-style apron bag. These versatile bags were lashed around waists for a simple apron, but could also be tied together to be worn as a shoulder bag, made all the more versatile by the fact that ticking cloth is light and thin enough to be layered with.

The bag is made from 100% cotton ’Ticking Cloth’, a material that was primarily used in bedding. Offcuts from the manufacturing process would be salvaged for small accessories and children’s clothing, which serves as the inspiration behind this adaptation.

The fabric is tightly woven to keep filler from bedding from escaping, but thanks to its versatile soft and dense quality, is ideal for civilian recreational wear. The TICKING STRIPE APRON BAG features a reinforced single large apron pocket, one-size waist lashings, single needle construction and bar tack reinforcements.
