Based on varsity jackets seen worn in the 1960s. The body is made of a rough and dry wool fabric developed by The Real McCoy's and finished with vegetable tanned horsehide sleeves. The lining is made using a nylon quilt for a smooth handle and durability. The collar, cuffs, and hem are ribbed with a striped nylon wool blended pattern using a colour scheme very popular of the time.
This is our custom model of the Wool Varsity Jacket (MJ21118) which is covered in felt patches, chenille patches, and chain embroidery just like those seen 60's varsity jackets. The patches on the body are also stitched using a chain-stitching machine for added authenticity.
