About

The half-track, combining wheeled front and tracked rear, emerged in the early 20th century, enhancing off-road capabilities in military vehicles. In WWII, they saw significant use, notably in the US army. Camp Hood, now Fort Hood, Texas, was instrumental as a large training base for half-track vehicle operations during this period.

Camp Hood was established in WWII as a tank destroyer training center and transformed the small agricultural town of Killeen in the Spring of ‘42, becoming the largest Army base in Texas.

With a slightly cropped vintage style fit, the Olive MILITARY TEE / CAMP HOOD is cut from a mid-weight 8oz. 100% cotton fabric. Featuring a black Camp Hood front graphic, printed by hand in our Kobe-based factory.
