TIGER CAMOUFLAGE TROUSERS / LATE WAR
The Real McCoy's MP23004
About
The TIGER CAMOUFLAGE TROUSERS / LATE WAR trousers are modified reproductions of Vietnam war-era U.S. Special Forces camouflage trousers, with the Late War version of the trousers being constructed without a bandage pocket. Tiger Camouflage was developed in the 1950s, intended for use in close quarters jungle warfare, it disguised and distorted the appearance of its wearer’s body in the bush. Its effectiveness made it the preferred uniform patterning of choice among special operators, but members of all branches of the U.S. Military wore this distinct tiger striping throughout the Vietnam war. Military use of this camouflage ended with the war, but tiger camo remains to be worn in rugged casual militaria.
Like the original bush pant, the tiger camouflage is meticulously applied by hand on era-accurate cotton-blend fabric to create an all-over pattern. The TIGER CAMOUFLAGE TROUSERS / LATE WAR trousers are constructed in a Cotton-Blend fabric, complete with dual slash entry hip pockets, single needle construction, overlock-stitched seams, keyhole button hole embroidery, belt loops, contrasting Urea button fly, spacious dual button-closure flap cargo pockets for gear, and dual gusseted button-closing flap pockets on the backside.
