LINER, CAMOUFLAGE PONCHO PARKA
The Real McCoy's MJ21012
About
Many jackets were made from nylon blanket liners taken home as souvenirs during the Vietnam War. These blanket liners, known as Ponchos, began its production in the late 60s. There are both camouflage printed and plain versions of the blanket. They still remain in production today with very little changes from its first model. The vintage construction of the jacket itself is quite simple, cutting a straight line for sleeves and body usually with a zipper front and shirt collar.
We have reproduced a hooded version, using details seen on outdoor clothing from the same era.
