8HU LEATHER CAP

From 8HU, a mid-century workwear piece that’s efficacy and design makes it as useful now as it was at the time of its inception. Our 8HU LEATHER CAP is made from 8 panels of split cowhide leather, features a comfortable cotton twill lining and includes a snap stud peak.

Split Leather is processed leather (5mm or thicker cowhide leather) that has been split down the middle to create a top grain split and flesh split. Although the grain surface is scratched and unusable for clothing, by splitting the leather in half, you get a tough fibered leather which is very durable in situations that involve fire and friction.
