This coat uses a custom reproduction of a polyester and cotton fabric, which began to be distributed for casual wear in the late 1960s. The polyester/cotton fabric is an exquisite blend of polyester and cotton, and the polyester yarn in particular is a low-sheen type that has been procured to reproduce colors and textures not seen in the modern era. The unusual detail of the split raglan sleeve shape, combined with side vents, has also been reproduced.
