BUCO J-24 SATIN TWILL JACKET
Buco BJ24102
About
The J-24, alongside the J-100, were two biker jackets that put Joseph Buegeleisen's Buco brand on the map. Developed in 1953, the J-24 jacket is considered one of the most iconic depictions of a double-rider jacket with a D-pocket.
Made from a cotton rayon twill fabric, the BUCO J-24 SATIN TWILL JACKET is inspired by the rider jackets that followed the motorcycle boom of the 1950s. The production of biker jackets in rayon and satin cloths provided riders with a lightweight and affordable alternative to heavier horsehide leathers while maintaining the timeless silhouettes of a brand's house style. Notably, these jackets were produced in a variety of colorways; this jacket is available in BURGUNDY and BLACK.
The BUCO J-24 SATIN TWILL JACKET is crafted from cotton rayon twill fabric lined with a comfortable and lightweight nylon twill lining. It is detailed with brass dot buttons and includes McCoy's square front zipper with a nickel finish and cotton tape. The 50s-style square sleeve and side zippers also have a nickel finish and are constructed with cotton tape. Additionally, the jacket boasts a round rhombus-linked D-pocket and chest zipper, both with a nickel finish and cotton tape. The entire construction is completed with durable cotton sewing thread.
