About

With their beginnings in leather pilot helmet manufacturing, Buco was founded in 1933. Shortly after the war, the motorcycle industry boomed. Noticing an opportunity to showcase their expertise in leather crafts, Buco began producing leather motorcycle jackets and helmets to meet this demand.

Buco’s expert craftsmanship and dedication to quality earned it a reputation as the standard for leather goods. Following success as an emerging leather goods manufacturer, Buco later released belts and accessories alongside leather jackets and safety goods.

The belt is pre-cut with a curve to ensure a natural fit when worn. Made from vegetable-tanned horsehide leather sourced from the horse's hindquarters, this leather has a unique gloss and is highly resistant to stretching. Although considered a luxurious and rare material for belts, it is also seen as the best possible leather for this purpose, as no other material is better suited for making belts. The belt is finished with a Buco-branded iron buckle. The BUCO HORSEHIDE BUTTOCK CURVE BELT is available in two versions: seen here with a black finish and a natural underside that encourages a patina with wear, and a DEEP BLACK version that is dyed throughout and will retain its color.
