One of the lightest-weight tees The Real McCoy's produce. The Summer Cotton Undershirt takes heavy inspiration from U.S. Army undershirts that were issued to the Marines in the Pacific during WW2. The colour of the t-shirts that were originally issued to soldiers were white, but due to high visibility, in the mid 1940s they were reissued and changed to green. The tee provided soldiers with a comfortable fit in the hot climates with its less structured fit, slightly cropped sleeves, and looser neck band.
