The BUCO LOGO CAP is made from cotton twill cloth, constructed in six panels, and finished with "RIDE WITH PRIDE" embroidered detailing and the iconic BUCO oval logo. The "RIDE WITH PRIDE" slogan was used throughout the 1950s as part of their magazine advertising campaigns.
In 1966, the BUCO company was acquired from founder Joseph Buegeleisen by the American Safety Equipment Corporation of New York. By the 1970s, recognizing the potential of the now prolific baseball cap as a promotional tool, many companies began embellishing caps with brand logos and slogans for customers.
