The BUCO COTTON-TWILL RIDER’S HELMET is an ‘AVIATOR TYPE — FORM FITTING’ motorcycle skull cap with noticeable lineage to leather flying helmets of the 30s and 40s. With the emission of earphone holes, similar traits include the buckle fastened chin strap and snap button goggle retainers.

The BUCO COTTON-TWILL RIDER’S HELMET is crafted from high-quality West Point cotton chino cloth. A warm lightweight durable helmet is the result and no helmet stock is complete without it.

Historically produced in leather or gabardine they served as an ideal liner for half helmets. Beyond enhancing the overall fit of Shorties, the cotton skull cap provided an additional layer of comfort and in touring scenes, was commonly worn alone.
