SPECIFICATION

The BUCO COACH JACKET / ENGINEERS uses a custom-made, quality nylon, reminiscent of hard-wearing nylon from the 1970s and is an authentic reproduction of an iconic Coach Jacket, a relaxed fit named for its presence on American Sports touchlines in the mid-century, popular for its versatility and appeal across seasons and climates, though most accustomed to Spring in this cotton-lined example.

In the year 1966, the BUCO company was acquired from founder Joseph Buegeleisen by the American Safety Equipment Corporation of New York and by the 1970s they had produced a number of promotional and novelty items. Among them was the extremely versatile Coach Jacket, used by riders and engineers alike.

The BUCO COACH JACKET / ENGINEERS features the diamond-shaped Buco logo, which can be seen stamped on the soles of the BUCO Engineer Boots. The Buco Engineers graphics to the front and back are produced in rubber print. The jacket benefits from elasticated cuffs and a drawstring adjustable hem.
