This heavy weight cardigan is made using cashmere blended yarn. Each individual part of the pattern is knitted on a home knitting machine which are then linked by hand to form the shape of the cowichan. The yarn is knitted with eight strands of 15-count cashmere blended yarn which is drawn together. Compared to conventional wool sweaters, the touch and warmth is very different. The cowichan has a relaxed fit with a round body not too dissimilar from a vintage fit.
