BUCO MESH CAP / BUCO OVAL

BUCO MESH CAP / BUCO OVAL is made from a cotton twill fabric front panel and trucker style nylon mesh back panel. The cap is finished with "RIDE WITH PRIDE" rubber print detailing and the iconic BUCO oval logo. The "RIDE WITH PRIDE" slogan was used throughout the 1950s as part of their magazine advertising campaigns.

In 1966, the BUCO company was acquired from founder Joseph Buegeleisen by the American Safety Equipment Corporation of New York. By the 1970s, recognizing the potential of the now prolific baseball cap as a promotional tool, many companies began embellishing caps with brand logos and slogans for customers.
