In Japan, the Yokosuka Base was most famous for selling the souvenir jackets granting the Souvenir Jackets to be named ‘Suka-Jyan’ (abbreviation of Suka from Yokosuka, and Jyan-Japanese abbreviation of Jyanbaa meaning jumper in katakana Japanese). They also sold local souvenirs for bases like Guam and Philippines that were made in Kiryu City of Japan.
